Fans of “The Love Hypothesis” will soon get another chapter in the story of Adam and Olive!
Author Ali Hazelwood announced that a sequel titled “The Two-Body Problem” will be released on February 2, 2027.
Hazelwood said she had not initially planned to continue the story, but the recent film adaptation of “The Love Hypothesis” reignited her interest in the characters.
The upcoming book will follow Adam and Olive as they navigate life after the events of the original novel. Hazelwood described the story as covering several years and exploring their personal lives, academic careers and the everyday challenges of maintaining a long-term relationship.
She also teased that the sequel will feature a more relatable relationship dilemma: figuring out what to eat for dinner.
In addition to the book announcement, Hazelwood revealed that a film adaptation of “The Two-Body Problem” is also in development.
MRC is developing the project for Amazon MGM Studios, although further details about its cast, director and release date have yet to be announced.
“The Love Hypothesis” recently made its way to the screen, with Lili Reinhart portraying Olive and Tom Bateman playing Adam in the Prime Video adaptation.
“The Two-Body Problem” is scheduled to be released in February 2027, giving readers another chance to follow Adam and Olive beyond their original love story.
