Miss Universe Thailand has confirmed that Miss Grand International President and Miss Universe Vice President for Asiana Nawat Itsaragrisil and Miss Universe 2025 1st Runner-Up Veena Praveenar will be visiting the Philippines from May 1 to 3, 2026, for a special appearance at one of Southeast Asia’s most anticipated pageant events.

In a social media post greeting the country, the organization said, "Mabuhay, Philippines 🇵🇭,” announcing their attendance at the Grand Finals of Miss Universe Philippines 2026 on May 2.

The coronation night will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where reigning Miss Universe Philippines and Miss Universe 2025 3rd Runner-Up Ahtisa Manalo will crown her successor.

The visit of Nawat, who serves as the powerful national director of Miss Universe Thailand, alongside Veena Praveenar, is expected to draw strong international pageant attention.

Both figures have been influential in shaping Thailand’s strong presence in global beauty competitions, with Veena recently finishing as first runner-up in Miss Universe 2024.

Their participation highlights the continued strengthening of ties within the Miss Universe organization, as key international figures increasingly join national pageant events across different countries.
