Defense Secretary Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr. said that he is focused on strengthening the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and brushed off questions about a possible 2028 electoral bid.

Teodoro said he continues to prioritize national security efforts, remaining actively involved in key engagements, including activities commemorating the 10th anniversary of the 2016 arbitral award on the West Philippine Sea.
