A 15-year-old boy was killed after being stabbed multiple times by three men in Barangay Capuling, Dueñas, Iloilo province.

Police said the victim sustained 13 stab wounds to various parts of his body. Initial investigation revealed that the teenager was on his way home with four friends when they encountered a group of men. A brief staring incident allegedly escalated into a chase.

According to Dueñas Police Investigator PCpl. Reginald Lawague, the victim tripped and fell while being chased, allowing the suspects to catch up and stab him repeatedly. He sustained wounds to the abdomen, back, and both legs.

The victim was declared dead, while the three suspects were arrested in a hot pursuit operation.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the motive behind the attack.
