

Team Sibol received an official send-off in Mandaluyong City as they prepare to represent the Philippines in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Arena of Valor (AOV) at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.
MLBB Women’s Team
The women’s roster includes:
- Gwyneth Diagon – EXP Laner
- Kaye Maerylle Alpuerto – Jungler
- Mery Christine Vivero – Roamer
- Rica Fatima Amores – Mid Laner
- Sheen Perez – Gold Laner
- Clarisse Nicole Cordova – Sub–Gold Laner
The women’s MLBB team previously reached the silver-medal match in the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia, where they fell short against Indonesia and did not secure a podium finish.
Coach Salman Macarambon shared his thoughts in an exclusive interview with The Better News:
“Siyempre mas ramdam mo yung players na uhaw na uhaw ngayon, sa performance naman namin sa scrims Maganda naman yung mga pinapakita nila. So, naka-dipende nalang siguro kung paano nila i-ta-translate yung performance nila sa scrims sa competition.”

Fresh off their championship run in MPL Philippines Season 16, Team Liquid Aqua MLBB Men’s TeamPhilippines continues rigorous preparations as they aim for a four-year gold-medal streak in the MLBB men’s division.
In an exclusive interview, Kiel Soriano said:
“Very prepared naman kami since matapos naman po yung MPL, tuloy-tuloy lang din yung practice naming. Iisa lang namn po ‘yung way namin para paghandaan lahat ng teams na nakalaban naming which is mag practice kami and maging disiplinado sa game.”

- Harold Cabaguing.
Odtuhan shared that the team focused heavily on building their own strategies:
“Bale, ginawa po naming nag-focus kami sa sarili namin. Hindi kami nag-focus sa kalaban. Kumbaga, yung gagawin naming parang strategy talaga namin. Kumbaga, doon kami nakilala.”
