Police have arrested one of the suspects in the ₱3.2-million robbery that took place in Barangay Turo, Bocaue, Bulacan, as authorities continue a manhunt for his alleged accomplices.

According to Bocaue Municipal Police Station chief PLTCOL Gilbert C. Diaz, the robbery occurred around 7:20 p.m. on February 25, 2026, in Villa Zaragoza Subdivision. Four armed men wearing black jackets and masks reportedly forced their way into a residence, held the victims at gunpoint, and carted away jewelry and mobile phones worth approximately ₱3,296,500 before fleeing aboard a white sedan.

Joint operatives of the Bocaue MPS and the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit conducted backtracking and forward-tracking operations, identifying the getaway vehicle as a white Honda City with plate number ABT-5774. Investigators later linked the vehicle to similar robbery incidents in Parañaque and nearby areas, allegedly tied to a criminal group known as the “Rizal Group.”

On February 28, 2026, authorities carried out an intelligence-driven operation after a suspect posted on social media about a missing license plate. Police operatives posed as individuals who had found the plate and arranged a meeting at the Tanay Municipal Police Station. There, a witness positively identified the suspect as one of the armed perpetrators, leading to his arrest under a hot pursuit operation.

The arrested suspect, a resident of Tanay, Rizal, was brought to the Bocaue MPS along with the recovered vehicle for further investigation. The primary victim again confirmed his involvement, while another suspect was also identified through photographs and witness testimonies. Charges have been filed before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor in Malolos City.
