Stories come alive in Cubao this August.
A three-day celebration of books, art and Filipino creativity will take center stage in Quezon City as the Philippine Readers and Writers Festival 2026 gathers readers, writers and artists under one roof next month.
Organized by National Book Store in partnership with Komikon, the festival will run from Aug. 14 to 16 at the NBS Building in Araneta City, offering a shared space for literary and creative exchange.
The event will feature a mix of book talks and exclusive signings, giving attendees the opportunity to meet authors and discover new titles. Panel discussions are also set to highlight trends in Philippine literature, storytelling and the evolving creative industry.
Workshops aimed at aspiring writers and artists will be held throughout the weekend, focusing on skill development and creative collaboration.
Organizers said the festival seeks to make literature and the arts more accessible while fostering a stronger sense of community among Filipino creatives and readers.
The Philippine Readers and Writers Festival is open to the public.
