A principal from Sto. Tomas North Elementary School in Jaen, Nueva Ecija suffered from wounds after being shot in front of the school on Tuesday morning, September 19.
According to Grace Sansano's report in DZRH's Damdaming Bayan, the victim, identified as Reden Daquiz, 39, was shot while driving his white Fortuner upon entering the school where he is working.
Based on the narrative of Imelda Abergas, one of the teachers in the said school, they heard gunshots as they immediately came out and saw Daquiz out of his vehicle, bloody.
Daquiz was soon rushed to the hospital after sustaining seven bullet wounds.
Authorities conducted a manhunt operation during the investigation. The school also decided to suspend the class for safety and protection.
