Social media content creator Stefano Devere called out fellow creators for allegedly repeatedly copying his online content.
In his recent social media post, Devere said he initially felt pleased when he noticed others drawing inspiration from his work. However, he noted that the pattern eventually became frequent and concerning.
“I’ve seen multiple creators copying my content. At first, I found it fun and enjoyed it. But they started doing it frequently. I believe everyone has their own potential, and I’d rather see them create something unique instead,” he said.
He added, “I just want them to know their limits and respect other creators’ creative process.”
Meanwhile, content creator and businesswoman Rosmar Pamulaklakin has defended a fellow creator who recently came under online criticism over alleged similarities between her content style and that of Devere.
In a social media post, Rosmar urged the public to show understanding toward the creator, noting her young age and the emotional impact of negative comments circulating online.
“Sa mga nang babash kay Ria Vlogs konting pagpapakatao naman. Bata un uy? Nadedepressed ung bata sa ginagawa nyo. Normal lang naman na kumopya ng idea lalo kung trending ang isang bagay, pagkain man yan o business,” Rosmar wrote.
The issue comes amid ongoing online discussions about content originality, with some users criticizing the content creator for allegedly copying Devere’s format, while others argue that adapting trending styles is a common practice across social media platforms.
