The newest attraction at Star City officially opened its doors on Friday, June 19, offering visitors a chance to get up close with hyper-realistic statues of some of the biggest names in Philippine entertainment.

The newly launched Startista Gallery was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by several celebrities, including actress Gladys Reyes, Ara Mina, Bayani Agbayani, and former Viva Hot Babes member Maui Taylor. Also present were Prima Ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde and MBC Media Group Chairman Fred Elizalde.

Star City Executive Vice President Jolly Macuja welcomed guests and visitors to the attraction, while Startista Gallery Project Manager John Galang shared details about the development of the exhibit.

One of the highlights of the gallery is the use of 3D printing technology to create life-like replicas of Filipino personalities. Macuja-Elizalde, who became the first model for the technology used in the attraction, described her experience during the opening program as "surreal."

Meanwhile, Maui expressed delight upon seeing her own hyper-realistic statue on display.

The Startista Gallery features hyper-realistic statues of star icons from Philippine cinema and entertainment, giving guests an immersive and interactive experience with some of the country's most recognizable personalities.
