It’s time to play, one last time. Netflix has dropped the first trailer for Korean survival-thriller series “Squid Game” Season 3—its final one—giving fans a tense glimpse into the deadly games that lie ahead of the global hit’s remaining players.
The almost one and a half minute-long clip begins with the appearance of the iconic pink bow casket, carried by guards. The lid is removed to reveal lead protagonist Seong Gi-hun, player 456.
The scene is followed by shots of players drawing red or blue balls from a gumball machine, intercut with brief, cryptic flashes of what’s to come.
The trailer closes with a baby’s cry.
In just less than 12 hours, the trailer has already garnered nearly four million views. This comes as no surprise—after all, the show’s first and second seasons have claimed top spots on Netflix’s Most Watched list (#1, #3 respectively), with “Wednesday” starring Jenna Ortega squeezing in between.
"Squid Game" Season 3 premieres June 27 on Netflix.
