Jaspher Cabangon, commonly known as Sphere of the P-pop group ECHO, has passed away on October 4, the group’s management confirmed Monday through a social media post.

“At this time, we humbly ask everyone to give his family, loved ones and the ECHO members the privacy and space they need to grieve,” the statement read. “Sphere will always be remembered for the light, warmth, and joy he brought to the people around him.”

Sphere’s presence will forever remain a part of the group and in the hearts of everyone who came to know and love him, his management’s statement said.

“Rest peacefully, Sphere. We love you!”

No cause of death was disclosed in the announcement.

In a separate post, ECHO announced that those who wish to pay their respects to the late P-pop idol may coordinate with Arin Salazar or may reach out to ECHO PH through any of their social media platforms.

Sphere was one of the eight members of the boy group ECHO. The group debuted last August with “Ready to Rise.”
