House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III publicized his Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) on Wednesday, October 22, declaring a net worth of P74 million.

The document released contained real properties under the agricultural and residential categories, with most of them purchased and some inherited by the House Speaker.

Dy’s real properties amount to P32.5 million, while his personal properties amount to P121 million. The liabilities indicated in the document amount to P47 million, which totals to a net worth of P74 million.

Based on the document, Dy has 16 relatives in government, all within the fourth degree of consanguinity. Among them are his sons, Quezon City 6th District Rep. Faustino Dy V, and LGU - Echangue, Isabela Municipal Mayor Francis Faustino Dy.

Three of his brothers are board members of the 4th and 5th districts of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Isabela, and the Vice Mayor of the LGU - San Manuel, Isabela, is also included.

Meanwhile, Dy reconstituted the SALN Review and Compliance Committee of the House of Representatives, based on a press release on Wednesday. This is pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 6713, and the Speaker’s previous statement regarding revisiting the House’s guidelines on the release of SALNs.

"The Committee will continue to perform its mandate as contained in House Memorandum Order No. 17-42 (SPK) dated December 20, 2016, and in the Rules of Procedure in the Filing, Review, and Disclosure of, and Access to, the SALNs of Members, Officials, and Employees of the House of Representatives under Resolution No. 176 adopted on January 30, 2019,” Dy said in a memo.
