Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero has signed the subpoenas against the presidents and owners of the construction companies involved in the “failed” flood control projects.
These companies were unable to attend the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee’s probe into flood control projects last week. RH Raymund Dadpaas reported that 10 out of 15 companies will be issued subpoenas.
They include:

- Alpha and Omega Gen. Contractor & Development Corporation President Cezarah C. Discaya
- Centerways Construction and Development Inc. President Lawrence R. Lubiano
- Hi-Tone Construction & Development Corp. President Edgar S. Acosta
- MG Samidan Construction, authorized Managing Officer Marjorie O. Samidan
- AMO Royal Crown Monarch Construction & Supplies Corp. President Romeo C. Miranda
- St. Timothy Construction Corporation President Ma. Roma Angeline D. Rimando
- Sunwest, Inc. CEO and President Aderma Angelie D. Alcazar
- Topnotch Catalyst Builders Inc. President Eumir S. Villanueva
- Wawao Builders General Manager Mark Allan V. Arevalo
The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee expects the 10 individuals to attend the hearing on September 1.
