The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat continues to affect Northern and Central Luzon on Sunday, June 7, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur will experience rains due to the Southwest Monsoon.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Pampanga, Bataan, Tarlac, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, and the rest of the Ilocos Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the Southwest Monsoon.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA earlier reported that former Tropical Depression Ester exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and the agency's monitoring domain on Saturday night.
As of this writing, PAGASA is not monitoring any low-pressure area for possible tropical cyclone formation.
