The teaser for the romance-thriller series “Someone, Someday,” released Wednesday, offers a first look at the highly anticipated pairing of Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid, along with revealing its July 27 premiere date.

The teaser introduces Bernardo’s character as a caring sister and a young CEO with a seemingly gentle demeanor, particularly toward her childhood best friend, portrayed by Reid.

However, the preview also hints at a tougher, more complex side, showing her in intense confrontations.

Directed by Chad Vidanes and Dolly Dulu, the series also stars Maja Salvador.

The new Filipino drama is set to premiere on Netflix and will be available on other online platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and other Kapamilya-linked networks.

“Someone, Someday” marks the first on-screen partnership of Bernardo and Reid and serves as their television comeback.

Bernardo last starred in “2 Good 2 Be True” in 2022, while Reid’s previous TV series was “Till I Met You” in 2016.
