Several bus trips from the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) to Bicol have already been fully booked ahead of the Christmas holidays.

According to a report by RH Jecelle Ricafort on dzRH's Damdaming Bayan, Philtranco’s Bicol-bound schedules—covering trips from December 19 to 23 and from December 26 to 29—are already sold out. These routes include Naga, Tabaco, Iriga, Buhi, Daet, Bulan, and Sorsogon.

A ticket dispatcher explained that travel time to Naga usually takes around 10 hours, while trips to Legazpi may last 15 to 16 hours during the holiday season due to heavier traffic.

Despite the fully booked schedules, walk-in passengers are advised not to worry, as Philtranco said they typically deploys additional buses to accommodate the influx of travelers during the holiday season.

Meanwhile, Superlines has also announced that its Daet-bound trips from December 22 to 30 are already fully booked. Unlike Philtranco, however, the company will no longer accommodate walk-in passengers, as it does not plan to deploy additional buses for the period.

The company clarified that trips from December 9 to 18 remain available, and there is still ample seat availability for January of next year.

Raymond Bus Company reported that its Bicol-bound trips from December 17 to 31 are likewise fully booked. Walk-in passengers will only be accommodated if there are cancellations from previously booked travelers.
