St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) has refuted circulating online documents allegedly containing medical test results of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., describing them as fake and falsified.

In a public advisory, SLMC said it is aware of the medical test results spreading on social media that claim to pertain to the President but stressed that these documents are not authentic.

“St. Luke’s Medical Center is aware of medical test results falsely circulating online and on social media claiming to pertain to President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr. These documents are FAKE and FALSIFIED,” the SLMC stated.

The hospital emphasized that it strictly upholds patient confidentiality and data privacy, noting that medical results are released only to the patient through authorized and official hospital channels.

SLMC also warned that any medical documents obtained, posted, shared, or circulated outside these official channels are considered unauthorized and may violate hospital policy and existing laws.

The hospital further urged the public to exercise caution and responsibility in sharing unverified and unofficial information online, particularly alleged medical records, as these may contribute to the spread of false information and could expose individuals to legal consequences.

In a video posted by the Presidential Communications Office on Wednesday evening, Marcos said he is in stable condition and remains fit to perform his duties, despite his doctors’ advice to rest following a diverticulitis diagnosis.

Marcos said he is taking prescribed antibiotics and medication to treat diverticulitis, an inflammation of small pouches in the colon.

“Okay na ako,” Marcos said.

“Thank you for your concern but I said, I got the best possible medical care that you can have. That’s why I’m already back in harness,” he added.

Marcos noted that he returned to work on Monday, presiding over the 7th Economic and Development Council meeting at Malacañang for over two hours to discuss major government projects awaiting approval.

He said his condition is improving and that he can now eat solid food after a brief period of dietary restrictions to ease his stomach.

Marcos thanked the public for their well wishes and assured that government operations continue without disruption.
