Single's Inferno 3 stars Yoo Si Eun and Lee Gwan Hee have confirmed that they are in a relationship, ending months of speculation among fans.
The couple made the announcement through a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, saying they wanted to personally share the news after quietly getting to know each other.
"Hello. I'm Gwan Hee Lee and Yoo Si Eun. Today, we would like to share some good news about the two of us," they wrote in Korean, as translated by Instagram.
The pair said they developed their relationship while receiving continued love and support from fans.
"We've been quietly getting to know each other through the warm attention many of you have sent us, and now we're here to express our sincere feelings to you directly," they said.
Yoo and Lee added that they intend to continue nurturing their relationship while supporting one another.
"We plan to cherish each other, support each other, and nurture a beautiful love. We appreciate your continued interest and warm support. Thank you," they said.
The announcement was accompanied by a photo of Lee affectionately looking at Yoo and was warmly received by fans, with the post amassing more than 320,000 likes, as of this writing.
According to reports, although Yoo and Lee did not end up together during the third season of the hit Netflix dating reality series, they remained in contact after the show concluded in 2024 and reportedly began dating in December.
Lee is a professional basketball player, while Yoo is a model and former beauty queen. Both appeared in the third season of Single's Inferno, which follows a group of singles living on a remote island called "Inferno" as they search for romantic connections. Contestants are only allowed to reveal personal details and get to know one another better after making it to "Paradise.
