Formerly missing bride-to-be Sherra De Juan was diagnosed with a gastrointestinal condition but was otherwise in good health when brought back home, according to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Tuesday.

De Juan was earlier assessed by doctors from the QCPD Medical and Dental Unit. According to their initial evaluation, Sherra disclosed she had been experiencing instances of nausea, reported RH 5 Val Gonzales.

The doctors diagnosed her with acid-peptic disease or dyspepsia, triggered by the sudden intake of solid food after days of irregular eating. They learned that while missing, De Juan had reportedly only been drinking water and had not eaten for several days.

De Juan was given medication, advised on proper eating and rest, and instructed to follow up with them should she remain unwell.

She arrived home safely early Tuesday morning, around 1 a.m., brought by her brother and fiancé with the help of the QCPD.
