

The shearline is affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas, while the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is affecting the rest of Luzon on Sunday, February 1, according to PAGASA.
Based on the state weather bureau's 4 a.m. bulletin, Visayas, Bicol Region, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shearline.
Mindanao and the rest of MIMAROPA will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized weather disturbances.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon.

As of 8 AM, no Low Pressure Areas (LPA) are being monitored for Tropical Cyclone Formation, PAGASA says.
