The Shearline is affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao, while the Northeast Monsoon, or Amihan, is affecting Luzon on Friday, February 20, based on the 4 a.m. forecast of the PAGASA.

Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM, Eastern Visayas, Sulu, Cebu, and Bohol will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shearline.

Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon.

The rest of Mindanao is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to easterlies.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the Northeast Monsoon.

No Low Pressure Area (LPA) is being monitored inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
