The shear line is affecting the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon, while the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is affecting the rest of Northern Luzon on Sunday, February 15, according to PAGASA.
In its 4 a.m. forecast, PAGASA said Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and Rizal will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms caused by the shear line.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.
Meanwhile, the easterlies are affecting the rest of the country. The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Western Visayas, Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
According to PAGASA weather forecaster Sharmaine Barilla, no low-pressure area is being monitored inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
