

The shearline and Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring cloudy skies and scattered rains across Luzon on Thursday, January 8, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said the Bicol Region, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shearline.
The Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, also due to the Northeast Monsoon.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, brought by easterlies.
