The Shear Line is affecting the eastern section of Visayas, while the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is affecting Luzon and the rest of Visayas. Meanwhile, the Easterlies are affecting Mindanao on Sunday, February 22.

In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, PAGASA said Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, Surigao del Norte, and Dinagat Islands will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line.

Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and the rest of Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies.

According to PAGASA, no low-pressure area is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
