SexBomb Girls member Jopay Paguia is currently hospitalized due to a concussion.

In a Facebook post dated January 10, Paguia shared a photo of her hospital bracelet and wrote, “Laban walang babawi.” She also added a lighthearted message, “Jopay kumusta ka na… May ‘Rawnd 5 pa’… Get get aw,” along with the hashtag #concussion.

No further details about her condition were disclosed in the post.

An update was later provided by her husband, fellow dancer and Maneuvers member Joshua Zamora, who said that Paguia needs “a little more rest.” “Soon makakabalik na ’yan si Ate Jopay niyo. We all know how God is faithful—just a little more rest,” he said.

Zamora also assured fans that there was no serious injury, adding that they are taking precautionary measures.

According to Zamora, Paguia will undergo further medical consultations and remains under close observation. He also expressed gratitude to the medical team at the Capitol Medical Center Emergency Room, as well as to supporters who have been sending prayers and well-wishes. In a separate Instagram post, he said they are praying for clear and negative results.

The update comes as the SexBomb Girls continue promoting the latest rounds of their highly successful reunion concert series, which kicked off at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on December 4. This was followed by a show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on December 9, featuring the band Mayonnaise, known for its hit song “Jopay.”

Upcoming performances are scheduled for February 6 and 7, with tickets for the third show selling out in less than a week. Another concert, dubbed “Rawnd 5,” is set for February 8 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The group first rose to fame through their regular appearances on a popular noontime television variety show before headlining the long-running afternoon series “Daisy Siete.”

At the height of their popularity, the SexBomb Girls also became one of the country’s top-selling recording acts.
