Several sea trips were canceled on Saturday, August 8, due to the enhanced southwest monsoon or 'habagat,' according to the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).
As of 12 p.m., affected ports and routes were in Batangas, Bicol, Marinduque, Quezon, Masbate, Mindoro, Bohol, Palawan, Panay-Guimaras, and Western Leyte-Biliran.
Among the canceled or suspended trips were:

- Port of Batangas: Montenegro Shipping Line, Batangas - Odiongan
