Several bus trips departing from the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) are already fully booked days ahead of the observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, as more passengers are expected to travel to their home provinces for Undas 2026.
According to Calbasa, 32.43% of bus trips bound for the Bicol Region were already fully booked as of October 23.
The figure has since increased, with 60% of Bicol-bound trips fully booked for Thursday, 61% for Friday, and 58% for the eve of Undas.
However, seats remain available on trips to the Bicol Region on November 1, as well as on return trips from the region, according to Calbasa.
Some trips bound for Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon are also fully booked, along with select routes to Northern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. However, Bicol-bound trips have yet to reach full capacity across all schedules.
Calbasa said more than 754,000 passengers had passed through PITX since October 25. On Wednesday, October 28, the terminal recorded 188,000 passengers.
PITX expects passenger traffic to exceed 1.9 million through November 4, driven by the anticipated surge of travelers returning to their home provinces for the Undas holidays.
Meanwhile, police said the situation at the terminal remains peaceful, with no untoward incidents reported so far.
