The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) maintained Alert Level 3 over Mayon Volcano, indicating hazardous eruption possibilities due to ongoing magmatic activity.
As of 5:30 a.m., the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported flight cancellations affecting operations at Bicol International Airport. Cebu Pacific confirmed the suspension of the following flights:
- 5J 321 (Manila – Bicol International Airport)
- 5J 332 (Bicol International Airport – Manila)
CAAP said at least 231 passengers have been affected so far due to the continued volcanic unrest.
