A senior citizen was declared dead on arrival at a hospital following a drinking session in Barangay Sacrifice Valley, Hermosa, Bataan.
According to the initial investigation, the 62-year-old woman went to her male friend's house at 8 p.m. to have an alcoholic drink. They drank together and went to sleep afterward.
At around 2 a.m., the male companion noticed the woman experiencing what appeared to be convulsions. He immediately sought help from barangay officials, who then reported the incident to the police.
The victim was rushed to Jose C. Payumo Memorial Hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Authorities from the Scene of the Crime Operations (SOCO) are currently conducting further investigation to determine the exact cause of the victim’s death.
