

The Senate of the Philippines has commended the country’s e-sports athletes following the championship win of Aurora Gaming PH at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M7 World Championship held in Indonesia.
On Tuesday, February 3, the chamber unanimously adopted Senate Resolution No. 34, congratulating and recognizing Aurora Gaming PH for its victory in the prestigious international e-sports tournament.
Members of Aurora Gaming PH were present at the Senate, where they shared their experiences from the tournament in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Senator Bam Aquino, in a social media post, congratulated the team and praised their world championship performance, describing Filipino e-sports players as “world-class.”
Lawmakers hailed the achievement as a testament to the growing strength and global competitiveness of Filipino players in the global e-sports scene.
Aurora Gaming PH secured the M7 world title after a dominant 4–0 sweep of Indonesia’s Alter Ego in the grand finals, underscoring the team’s control and consistency throughout the series.
The decisive win capped a strong tournament run by the Filipino squad against some of the best Mobile Legends teams in the world.
The resolution cited the team’s victory as a source of national pride, highlighting how Filipino e-sports athletes continue to excel on the international stage.
Senators also noted the expanding role of e-sports in opening opportunities for young Filipinos and in strengthening the country’s presence in global competitive gaming.
Aurora Gaming PH’s M7 championship marks one of the Philippines’ most significant achievements in international e-sports, further cementing the country’s reputation as a powerhouse in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competition.
