Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa expressed full support for the newly launched Reform Alliance for Good Governance and Accountability (RAGE) Coalition in a recorded audio message played during its launch event.

In his message, Dela Rosa described the coalition as a “unity of different forces” committed to standing for truth, accountability, and the welfare of the Filipino people.

The senator also endorsed Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, who leads the coalition, citing his courage and resolve to fight for what is right. He likewise reiterated his support for Vice President Sara Duterte, whom he said continues to serve despite ongoing challenges.

Dela Rosa warned against the use of politics to suppress leaders who he said are genuinely serving the public.

The message comes as Dela Rosa remains absent from Senate sessions.

Records show he has not attended since November 11, 2025, and missed 31 plenary sessions between July 28, 2025 and March 18, 2026 — the highest among senators during the period. He attended only 27 out of 58 sessions, based on the Senate’s attendance sheet.

Dela Rosa is currently facing an ethics complaint over his prolonged absence.

His continued absence began after Jesus Crispin Remulla alleged that the International Criminal Court had issued a warrant of arrest against him in connection with the controversial anti-drug campaign of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
