The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) confirmed that soil erosion occurred at the Tipo High-Tech Park within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ) on Saturday, August 29, amid continuous heavy rains.

In a statement, the SBMA said the incident was “caused by the non-stop heavy rains.”
