P-pop Kings SB19 is once again blazing a trail in history as the Philippine’s first pop group to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees game on Wednesday next week, July 29 at Rate Field in Chicago, USA.
“The calendar is set. The climb continues,” read the caption to the global promo tour announcement on the boys’ official Instagram page. “One nation behind us. The world before us.”
SB19 will also be performing at the Grammy Museum on July 28, at Lollapalooza on July 30, at the “I waS There Thanksgiving Fanmeet” in the United States on August 8 and 9, at Summer Sonic on August 14 and 15, and at the “I WaS There Thanksgiving Fanmeet” in Japan on August 18.
The “DUNKA!” singers will be joining the list of Filipino celebrities who have thrown ceremonial first pitches at Major League Baseball games, including boxing Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao, actress Liza Soberano, and comedian Jo Koy.
