Binibining Pilipinas-Globe Sasha Lacuna concluded her international pageant campaign with a Top 11 finish at The Miss Globe 2026 held at Siam Niramit Phuket in Thailand on Friday, November 6.
The Tarlac-born university student sustained the Philippines' placement streak in the international competition, matching the Top 11 finish of her predecessor, Annabelle McDonnell, in the 2025 edition.
Lacuna secured her spot in the Top 21 after winning the Miss Social Media award by topping both rounds of online voting conducted through the pageant's official social media platforms.
Throughout the competition, the Philippine representative also earned several distinctions, including a Top 6 placement in the National Costume competition, Top 10 in the preliminary swimsuit round, Top 25 in the talent competition, and Top 12 in the Head-to-Head challenge.
Meanwhile, Vietnam's Nguyen Thu Thao emerged as the new Miss Globe, defeating 51 other international delegates to claim the crown. Her victory gave Vietnam its second title in the competition's current iteration, tying the country with the Philippines and Albania for the most wins.
Thailand's Nam Ing Suttida Aladpu finished as first runner-up, followed by Ukraine's Maria Zheliaskova as second runner-up, the Netherlands' Sybel Hoekman as third runner-up, and Argentina's Pilar Macias as fourth runner-up.
The Philippines' last Miss Globe victory came in 2021, when Maureen Montagne captured the international crown in Albania.
