

Vice President (VP) Sara Duterte obtained higher performance satisfaction over President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., according to a survey from WR Numero Research conducted from July 29 to August 6.
The recent public opinion survey showed that President Marcos had a 35% satisfaction rating from Filipinos regarding his performance as President, while Vice President Duterte had a 47% satisfaction rating from Filipinos for her performance as Vice President.
However, the percentage presented a three-point drop in satisfaction approval for VP Duterte from April 2025, where her satisfaction rating was 50%, and on one hand, there is an increase of 6 points for President Marcos from the previous survey conducted in April 2025, where his satisfaction rating was at 29%.
For the dissatisfaction, President Marcos obtained 32% while VP Duterte obtained 21% of Filipinos.
According to the survey, the increase in satisfaction for President Marcos indicates that more people are becoming favorable towards his leadership compared to earlier months.
Meanwhile, there’s a slight decline in VP Duterte’s approval in comparison to the previous survey.
Moreover, 33% of Filipinos are unsure of the President’s performance, while 32% of Filipinos are unsure of the VP's performance.
This nationwide face-to-face survey of 1,814 adult Filipinos focused on how the general public feels about the performance of the two political figures.
