The Sandiganbayan Third Division has issued a warrant of arrest against former senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and several others in connection with graft and malversation charges linked to an alleged P92.8-million ghost flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan.

Sandiganbayan Third Division Executive Clerk of Court Atty. Dennis E. Pulma confirmed that the arrest warrant was released hours after the case was raffled on Monday afternoon. The charges stem from the supposed non-existent flood control project allegedly implemented during Revilla’s term.

Aside from Revilla, the warrant also covers officials and personnel of the DPWH Bulacan 1st District Engineering Office, including Assistant District Engineer Brice Hernandez, engineers Jaypee Mendoza, Arjay Domasig, and Emelita Juat, as well as Juanito Mendoza and Christina Pineda.

The anti-graft court also issued hold departure orders against all accused, barring them from leaving the country while the case is pending.
