Sabrina Carpenter is ready to be queen of Hollywood’s heart after dedicating herself to a flourishing music career.

According to US media, the US pop star is set to resume acting, both starring in and producing a musical film inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.”

If all goes as planned, it will be Sabrina’s first time leading a major studio production. The unnamed project is being made under Universal Pictures, to be written and directed by American filmmaker Lorene Scafaria.

Whether Sabrina will be playing the titular character is still unknown, reported DZRH’s Showbiz Angel, Angelica Cosme.

Sabrina first rose to fame for her role as Maya Hart in Disney’s 2014 sitcom, “Girl Meets World.”
