Authorities have temporarily closed Buntun Bridge to all types of vehicles except emergency and marked units as of 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, following a significant rise in the water level beneath the bridge, which has reached 12 meters, as reported by RH Grace Sansano.
According to the Tuguegarao City Command Center, the closure is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of motorists, as heavy rains from Super Typhoon Uwan continue to swell the Cagayan River.
