Resigned Miss Universe 2025 judge Omar Harfouch, who pulled out of the eight-person judging panel just two days before the pageant, alleged it was rigged and called Miss Mexico, Fatima Bosch, a “fake Miss Universe” on Friday.

“Miss Mexico is a fake winner. I, Omar Harfouch, declared yesterday exclusively on the American HBO, 24 hours before the Miss Universe final, that Miss Mexico would win—because Miss Universe owner Raúl Rocha is in business with Fatima Bosch’s father,” the Lebanese-French musician said in an Instagram post.

Harfouch added that Raul Rocha, who heads the Miss Universe Organization (MUO), and his son told him to vote for Bosch.

“Raul Rocha and his son urged me, (a) week ago in Dubai, to vote for Fatima Bosh because they need her to win ‘Because it will be good for our business,’ they said to me!”

More details will be revealed in May 2026, Harfouch assured.

Previously, Harfouch claimed that a “secret vote” had determined the Top 30 Miss Universe contenders before the arrival of the official jury. Furthermore, he revealed that he has consulted with a top law firm in New York about pressing charges against the pageant body.

“The issues under review include, but are not limited to: fraud, abuse of power, corruption, deception, breach of contract, conflict of interest, and emotional and reputational damages,” Harfouch said.
