Navotas City Lone District Rep. Tobias “Toby” Tiangco said that the Department of Justice will fly to Prague, Czech Republic to coordinate with authorities for former Congressman Elizaldy Co’s extradition.

“Doon sa nakita ko sa news, mukhang mamayang gabi o bukas, pupunta si (DOJ Secretary Fredderick Vida) doon sa Prague,” he told DZRH during the program Balansyado.

When asked whether Co would be cooperative, Tiangco replied that he felt Co would not benefit from evading the transfer.

On Tuesday, Vida said that he will be travelling to Czech Republic to facilitate Co’s extradition, adding that although the distance between the country and the Philippines has proven a challenge, coordination has been possible through concerned agencies.
