One of the four individuals who went missing after a portion of Agana Bridge in Tarlac City collapsed has been found, announced Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap.

The remains of James Patrick Taborlupa were discovered in Barangay Carael, Pangasinan on Monday, August 31, Yap said in a statement that night.

“Ngayong araw, natagpuan na po si James Patrick Taborlupa sa Brgy. Carael, Dagupan, Pangasinan. Isa po siya sa mga sakay ng sasakyang nahulog sa Agana Bridge noong Agosto 29, 2026,” Yap disclosed.

The mayor extended her condolences to Taborlupa’s family.

“Batid namin na walang salitang sapat upang maibsan ang sakit ng inyong pagkawala. Kasama po kami sa inyong pagdadalamhati,” she said.

Search and rescue operations remain ongoing to locate the other three passengers in the vehicle that fell when the Agana Bridge broke.
