The Commission on Elections (Comelec) reported on Wednesday that there is a total of 91,912,429 registered voters nationwide for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) slated this October.
In a press statement, Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said of the total registered, 68,468,339 are registered voters for the Barangay polls while 23,444,090 are for the SK polls.
In the vulnerable sectors, 817,804 Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and 11,371,198 Senior Citizens are registered.
Also registered for the BSKE polls are 65,098 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) and 458,284 persons with disabilities (PWDs).
According to Laudiangco, there are now 201,799 clustered precincts and 37,254 voting centers in the country.
He added that 15 of the 17 regions in the country have successfully printed their voting ballots.
