Social media platform Reddit is asking the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) for an extension following a 24-hour deadline for Reddit and Discord to appoint a resident agent or establish a local office in the Philippines.

However, the CICC stated that it is still considering whether to grant the request.
