Police have filed a case of rape with homicide against the man accused of raping and killing a 6-year-old student whose body was found in a farm area in Victoria, Tarlac on June 19, 2026.
In a statement on Monday, the Victoria Municipal Police Station said that as a result of the investigation conducted, a case of rape with homicide has been filed and submitted to the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Tarlac.
“Bilang resulta ng isinagawang imbestigasyon, ang kasong Rape with Homicide ay isinampa laban sa suspek na naihain na sa Tanggapan ng Provincial Prosecutor ng Tarlac sa pamamagitan ng inquest proceedings at kasalukuyan nang nasa ilalim ng tamang proseso ng batas,” police said.
The child was first reported missing on June 19. Authorities immediately conducted verification procedures, reviewed available closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, and launched search and follow-up operations.
At around 10:00 p.m. on Friday, the family’s search—assisted by barangay officials—led them to a dense mango plantation in Barangay San Nicolas, Victoria, Tarlac.
Responding officers later proceeded to a nearby farm area, where the child’s body was discovered. Authorities said the remains were severely battered and nearly unrecognizable.
According to information gathered during the investigation, CCTV footage allegedly shows the victim being picked up from school by a 15 year old suspect riding a tricycle several hours before she was reported missing. Another footage reportedly shows the same tricycle heading toward the area where the crime was later committed.
Hours later, the tricycle was seen returning without the victim, while the suspect was reportedly wearing a different set of clothing.
