The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) announced it is fully prepared for the upcoming “Trillion Peso March” on February 25, 2026, commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution at the EDSA People Power Monument.

Under the leadership of District Director PBGEN Randy Glenn Silvio, QCPD personnel, supported by various Philippine National Police (PNP) units and partner agencies, will be strategically deployed to ensure the safety of participants, motorists, residents, and the general public. Coordination with local government units, event organizers, and other government agencies is ongoing to guarantee a peaceful, orderly, and secure event.

The security preparations are part of the PNP’s Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) under the Focused Agenda, reinforced by the NCRPO’s Triple A Program, emphasizing operational readiness, police visibility, and community partnership during major public events.

“Our primary goal is to maintain public safety while respecting the citizens’ right to peacefully assemble and express their sentiments during the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA Revolution. Comprehensive security measures and effective traffic management will be implemented to minimize disruption and ensure a safe environment for everyone,” said PBGEN Silvio.

Authorities encourage participants to follow official guidelines, cooperate with law enforcement, and plan travel ahead to ensure smooth and safe participation in the historic commemoration.
