The PLDT High Speed Hitters extended their perfect start in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference with a hard-fought 25-22, 25-27, 25-21, 25-15 victory over the Akari Chargers on Thursday at the FilOil Centre.

Veteran opposite Savi Davison led the way for PLDT with 18 points, but it was setter Kim Fajardo’s distribution that made the difference, spreading the offense to five players who reached double digits.

Key contributors included Kianna Dy and Majoy Baron, who scored 14 points apiece, with Baron dominating at the net with seven of the team’s 13 blocks.

Mika Reyes and Alleiah Malaluan added 10 points each, while defensive specialist Kath Arado anchored the backcourt with 26 excellent digs and 10 quality receptions.

The High Speed Hitters, now 3-0 in the conference, will face sister team Cignal on Tuesday, aiming to keep their unbeaten streak intact.
