Vice President Sara Duterte and her husband, lawyer Manases “Mans” Carpio, allegedly had ₱817.87 million in undeclared assets and unexplained wealth from 2022 to 2025, according to figures presented by public prosecutor Rep. Chel Diokno during the impeachment trial.

During the trial, financial forensic analyst Atty. Alexander Cabrera explained that “undeclared” refers to assets and income allegedly not reported in the couple’s Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALNs) and income tax returns (ITRs).

The total covers undeclared cash, other personal and real properties, and computed undeclared income, including amounts associated with companies linked to Carpio.

Cabrera said he compared the couple’s year-end bank balances with Duterte’s declared cash in her SALN to determine the alleged undeclared cash, which totaled:

  • 2022: P60.21 million
  • 2023: P80.70 million
  • 2024: P23.17 million
  • 2025: P43.61 million

Accounts under Carpio’s name allegedly held P41.53 million at the end of 2022, P49.20 million in 2023, P13.43 million in 2024, and P28.41 million in 2025.

The couple’s joint accounts reportedly held P8.80 million in 2022 and P9.86 million in 2023. Meanwhile, accounts associated with 888 Bistro held amounts ranging from P179,929 to P4.67 million annually.

Personal properties and investments

Cabrera said the category for undeclared other personal and real properties includes investments, insurance policies, stock purchases, physical assets, firearms, and companies linked to Carpio.

The figures included P10.6 million in undeclared insurance and P5.034 million in insurance policies allegedly purchased by the couple but not reported in their SALNs. Cabrera said some policies were paid through one-time premiums rather than installments.

He also alleged that electronic payments were used to pay in dollars for foreign investments.

The table listed the following computed undeclared income attributed directly to the couple:

  • 2023: P12.20 million
  • 2024: P28.03 million
  • 2025: P21.15 million

Separate figures attributed to Cale88 and Metro City amounted to P3.79 million in 2022, P14.79 million in 2023, P86.94 million in 2024, and P36.67 million in 2025.

For GenCorp, the table recorded P55.71 million in 2023, P74.06 million in 2024, and P82.86 million in 2025.
