The Archdiocese of Palo has reported that Rev. Fr. Edwin “Kutz” A. Caintoy has been missing since December 23, 2025.

According to their official statement, Fr. Caintoy was last seen that morning at the bus terminal near Robinsons North in Tacloban City.

He was reportedly wearing a white clerical polo shirt and carrying a sling bag. His whereabouts remain unknown, and the Archdiocese is now coordinating closely with authorities to locate him.

The public is urged to report any information that may help in finding Fr. Caintoy by contacting Rev. Fr. Gwen Lovelino Padagdag at 0928-219-3275. The Archdiocese also called on the faithful to offer prayers for his safe return.
