Pride PH and the Quezon City government are set to return the annual Pride Festival to the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman as organizers prepare for another massive gathering of LGBTQIA+ Filipinos and allies in what has become Asia’s largest Pride demonstration.

Following last year’s turnout of more than 250,000 participants, organizers said this year’s Pride PH Festival aims to further expand the celebration while continuing its advocacy for equality, dignity, and human rights for the LGBTQIA+ community.

The return to UP Diliman was described as both symbolic and practical, with the campus long recognized as a center of activism, democratic discourse, and social change. Organizers also cited the university’s large open spaces and accessibility as ideal for accommodating the growing number of attendees.

MayirJoy Belmonte reaffirmed the city government’s support for the LGBTQIA+ community, emphasizing that Pride represents more than a single event and reflects the city’s commitment to inclusive policies and equal rights.

This year’s #LOVELAB4N Pride Festival will feature an expanded setup with multiple activity hubs across the venue, including the Pride March, advocacy and community spaces, the Pride Expo, QueerCon, satellite stages, and various educational and cultural programs.

Organizers said the festival will also focus on representation and inclusivity through programs dedicated to youth, women, health, and trans communities, while promoting discussions on key advocacy issues such as the passage of a national SOGIE Equality Law and marriage equality in the Philippines.

Pride PH said the event remains rooted in the movement’s core principles of visibility, solidarity, and collective action, as advocates continue pushing for a more inclusive and equitable society for LGBTQIA+ Filipinos.
